DESCRIPTION:Whole Washington is hosting a Fall Film Festival featuring our favorite Healthcare movies. We will feature one movie at a time for a couple of weeks during the months of October and November. Some of the movies you will be watching on your own and joining us for a “movie club” discussion and Q & A!  Some of the movies we will live stream via Zoom and watch together followed by a Q & A and Discussion! \nFall Film Festival Schedule: \nfor Part 3 we will have a screening of Power to Heal in collaboration with Washington Physicians for a National Health Plan (PNHP) followed by a Q & A after the screening   On November 7th at 6PM! \nThis is a powerful documentary that covers how through the civil rights movement and then along with the introduction of Medicare the United States was able to desegregate all of our nation’s hospitals! We will warn you up front\, there are a lot of hard truths in this movie that we have never been taught to the generations following the civil rights movement. \nAnd make sure that you mark your calendar for our final Fall film Festival event which will be a screening of Healing US  on 11/19/24 at 6 PM! \nRegistration for Power to Heal Q & A \nSpread the word:
