At each event\, Whole Washington organizers will share information about the Washington Health Trust\, ask questions of the audience regarding their experiences with healthcare\, and provide opportunities to take action. \nWhole Washington organizers are also willing to present at existing community meetings\, co-host a virtual event\, collaborate on “Healthcare Happy Hour” events\, and/or a meet for a cup of coffee! Everyone has a story about why our healthcare system needs to change and we want to hear yours! DESCRIPTION:Whole Washington is coming to Battle Ground\, Washington in Clark County for a Town Hall event!  We have been visiting every corner of the state to create spaces for open dialog about the failures of our current for-profit healthcare system\, to solicit stories from those impacted by the lack of adequate nurse staffing\, hospital and provider closures\, challenges of navigating insurance coverage and denials\, or surprise bills and financial debt. This is a non-partisan\, educational event – open to the public.  Everyone has a story and we want to hear yours.  We will also provide highlights regarding how the Washington Health Trust will resolve or begin to resolve your issues. and answer your questions. \nWe believe we can do better by establishing the Washington Health Trust and designing a nonprofit system that works for patients and providers\, without the corrupting influence of for-profit insurance companies. We believe unions\, small businesses and our communities will benefit greatly by disconnecting healthcare from employment and ensuring healthy families\, longer and more productive lives and a healthy workforce. \nThis is an in person event to be held at the Battle Ground Community Library. 10AM-11:30AM \nSpread the word:
