DESCRIPTION:Whole Washington is visiting every corner of the state to create spaces for open dialog about the failures of the current for-profit system\, to solicit stories from those impacted by the lack of adequate nurse staffing\, hospital and provider closures\, challenges of navigating insurance coverage and denials\, or surprise bills and financial debt. This is a non-partisan\, educational event – open to the public.  We plan to present about 20 minutes of content  and then move a Q & A from you\, the audience.  Everyone has a story and we want to hear yours.  We also plan to provide highlights regarding how the Washington Health Trust will resolve or begin to resolve your issues. and answer your question \nWe believe we can do better by establishing the Washington Health Trust and designing a nonprofit system that works for patients and providers\, without the corrupting influence of for-profit insurance companies. This is a non-partisan\, educational event – open to the public.  WPSR will be sharing their Demand Access program\, RIP Medical Debt wants to raise $10\,000 to buy back 1 million dollars in medical debt from Washingtonians. And Whole Washington will be present to discuss our  Washington Health Trust.  We’ll end with Q & A from you\, the audience.  Everyone has a story and we want to hear yours. \nWe believe we can do better by establishing the Washington Health Trust and designing a nonprofit system that works for patients and providers\, without the corrupting influence of for-profit insurance companies.
