DESCRIPTION:Whole Washington is coming to Silverdale to share our statewide “Let’s Make Healthcare Happen” Town Hall! \nWhole Washington has visited every corner of the state to create spaces for open dialog about the failures of the current for-profit system\, to solicit stories from those impacted by the lack of adequate nurse staffing\, hospital and provider closures\, challenges of navigating insurance coverage and denials\, or surprise bills and financial debt and now we’re coming to Silverdale!  This is a non-partisan\, educational event – open to the public.  We plan to present about 20 minutes of content  and then move a Q & A from you\, the audience.  Everyone has a story and we want to hear yours.  We also plan to provide highlights regarding how the Washington Health Trust will resolve or begin to resolve your issues. and answer your questions. \nWe believe we can do better by establishing the Washington Health Trust and designing a nonprofit system that works for patients and providers\, without the corrupting influence of for-profit insurance companies. We believe unions\, small businesses and our communities will benefit greatly by disconnecting healthcare from employment and ensuring healthy families\, Longer and more productive lives and a healthy workforce.
