DESCRIPTION:On Monday\, September 30\, 2024\, Medicare supporters around the country will gather for local actions focused on reclaiming Medicare from profit-hungry corporate health insurers. We will struggle to get to a national single-payer healthcare system if the insurance companies continue to gobble up our Medicare Trust – and they know it.\n\nWhole Washington is collaborating with PNHP-WA to plan a Die-In (fun!). Monday Sept 30th at lunch time 1130-130pm at the Henry M. Jackson Federal Building\, 915 2nd Ave.\, Seattle\, WA.\n\nThe Jackson Federal Building houses several offices\, including those of our Federal elected representatives and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
