DESCRIPTION:Join us in tabling in Everett in collaboration with Snohomish County Indivisible! You can also participate in the march after the rally.  The goal for this event is to amplify the national Women’s March to the White House (Washington\, DC)and push Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Advocacy work during the last days of this election cycle! Currently there is no event scheduled for Seattle! So this Snohomish County event is critical to our region and our voices! \nDescription of this event: a rally and march in solidarity with participants in the Women’s March on the White House (in Washington\, DC).  We express our deep appreciation for the steadfast support of our elected officials in Washington state for women’s reproductive rights.  We urge our congressional representatives to advocate for expanded access to reproductive health services\, including abortion care\, birth control\, and medication abortion nationwide.  Additionally\, we call on our elected officials to actively oppose discriminatory laws and bans that undermine women’s rights and hinder progress.  Furthermore\, we are urging Congress to take immediate action to reform the judicial branch to address the challenges within our outdated and compromised judicial system before the situation deteriorates further. \nWe Won’t Go Back – Event details:\nDate:    Saturday November 2\, 2024 \nTime:   Noon-1pm Social Time with Tabling and Sign Making \n1:00-3:00 pm (speakers from 1:00 to 2:15+/-\, march begins after last speaker) \nLocation:  Snohomish County Campus Plaza & Amphitheater\, 3000 Rockefeller Avenue\, Everett 98201 \nFrom the National Women’s March Event:  Had enough people been ready for the fight for our families\, our freedoms\, and our futures in 2016\, Donald Trump would have never been elected. We cannot repeat the mistakes of the past. On November 2nd\, thousands of feminists will mobilize across the nation to show our collective power. The stakes are clear: it’s freedom vs. fascism. This November\, we must deliver a decisive defeat to those who threaten our rights\, freedoms\, and futures.
