We know we can’t do this without building a large\, informed\, and active volunteer base. \nWe need you and we are here to support you in getting started – no matter how much or how little time you have! \nBring a smart phone\, laptop\, or tablet if you can\, so we can show you how to access important volunteer resources on our web page and how to complete a new volunteer form if you’re interested in making a commitment to be a  volunteer lead in Yakima. \n\nSpread the word:

DESCRIPTION:“It’s a Wrap!”  Online Town Hall! \nWhole Washington has been visiting every corner of the state to create spaces for open dialog about the failures of the current for-profit system\, to solicit stories from those impacted by the lack of adequate nurse staffing\, hospital and provider closures\, challenges of navigating insurance coverage and denials\, or surprise bills and financial debt. This is a non-partisan\, educational event – open to the public.  Everyone has a story and we want to hear yours.  We also plan to provide highlights regarding how the Washington Health Trust will resolve or begin to resolve your issues. and answer your questions. \nWe believe we can do better by establishing the Washington Health Trust and designing a nonprofit system that works for patients and providers\, without the corrupting influence of for-profit insurance companies.
