DESCRIPTION:We’re marching in the Pride Parade this year!\nThis will be one of the best signature collection events of the whole campaign and we’ll need lots of help. \nWhere Can I Find Whole Washington?\nCHECK OUT THE WHOLE WA SEATTLE PRIDE MAP \nHOME BASE\nOur parade contingent gathers at the corner of 4th Ave & Cherry St. We will also have a table at Seattle Center near the International Fountain for Pride Fest\, continuing all afternoon and after the parade. \nSET UP TIME\nEarly morning on 4th Ave & Cherry St to gather signatures and assemble for the parade. Mid-morning to set up at the Seattle Center! \nVOLUNTEERS/SHIFTS NEEDED\nSome volunteers will walk in the parade. (Carrying signs\, collecting signatures\, and/or passing out goodies to the crowd along the route.) \nEVERYONE marching in the parade contingent will need to carry proof of COVID-19 vaccination (photo or copy of their vaccination card) or proof of a recent negative PCR test. Volunteers without documentation are not allowed to march in the parade\, but will be able to collect signatures in the crowds along the parade route and at PrideFest after the march. \nWe will need LOTS of volunteers working the crowds and gathering signatures. Remember\, there will be over 500\,000 people at this event! \nWe can’t have too many volunteers for this!\nThe Seattle Pride Parade begins near Westlake Center (4th Ave & Pike St) and ends at the Seattle Center. \nThe festivities begin early! We will be collecting signatures in the crowds beginning at ~8 AM along 4th Ave\, around Westlake Center as viewers arrive! \nWe will assemble our parade contingent near the corner of 4th Ave and Cherry St early in the morning. We will have plenty of extra petitions for you to gather signatures!

DESCRIPTION:4 Days of Crowds and Signatures!\nFolklife is always a great event for getting a lot of signatures! \nFriday through Monday\, Memorial Day. \nSign up to volunteer! \nHOW MANY PEOPLE DOES NORTHWEST FOLKLIFE REACH?\nWe collaborate with all of the diverse communities of the Pacific Northwest–including Washington\, Oregon\, Western Montana\, Idaho\, Alaska\, British Columbia\, and Alberta–to inspire programs and public presentations of all forms of cultural expression practiced in the Northwest. The annual Festival includes over 6\,000 participants and 500 volunteers\, 200 food and craft vendors\, and attracts over 250\,000 attendees.
