SUMMARY:Snohomish County Indivisible Whole Washington Presentation
DESCRIPTION:Whole Washington is coming to Snohomish County Indivisible to request their assistance with organizing Universal Healthcare Town halls around the state.  We plan to visit every corner of the state to create spaces for open dialog about the failures of the current for-profit system\, to solicit stories from those impacted by the lack of adequate nurse staffing\, hospital and provider closures\, challenges of navigating insurance coverage and denials\, or surprise bills and financial debt. Town halls will be non-partisan\, educational events – open to the public.We are currently preparing materials to facilitate a series of hour-long town halls as a community conversation. We plan to present about 20 minutes of content then move to a series of open-ended questions.  Everyone has a story and we want to hear them to be sure that the language of the Washington Health Trust protects the people  of Washington. \nThis presentation is being held during the Snohomish Indivisible General meeting that convenes at 3pm with a social hour preceding (2-3pm) and is held at the Snohomish County PUD office in Everett. \n\nPlease RSVP to their meeting link here….\nSnohomish County Indivisible Meeting RSVP
