Saving lives and saving money.We are creating spaces for open dialogue about our healthcare system. In some way, we’re all too familiar with the failures of the fragmented, for-profit system that we have today. Failures like:inadequate staffing, navigating narrow networks, challenges with navigating insurance coverage, denials and pre-authorizations, surprise bills and medical debt. We know we can do better. By establishing the Washington Health Trust and designing a publicly funded, nonprofit system, we can offer comprehensive care to all Washington State residents. Patients, providers, unions, small businesses, our entire community will benefit. When we disconnect healthcare from employment, we live longer and save money.Whole Washington organizers will present about 20 minutes worth of material and then move into Q & A. Everyone has a story and we want to hear yours! We’ll highlight how the Washington Health Trust can resolve many existing issues and get us on track to a brighter future.These town halls are non-partisan, educational events, open to everyone.
