Whole Washington has been invited to give public testimony to Washington state’s Universal Health Care Commission (UHCC) on multiple occasions. This commission is tasked with studying, designing, and recommending healthcare policy to the Washington State Legislature to be voted into law. These presentations have been an opportunity for Whole Washington to explain how The Washington Health Trust works in detail to both the public as well as lawmakers and public administrators.

The Universal Health Care Commission is accountable to produce an annual report to the legislature every November. Below is the current draft of the next November report.
June 2024 report back on The Washington Health Trust (SB.5335)
The Universal Health Care Commission’s Finance Technical Advisory Committee (FTAC) compiled a report summarizing their initial analysis of The Washington Health Trust (SB.5335). While they were not ready to recommend the bill in its entirety , the report identifies key areas of alignment that will be passed along to the legislature.
