On February 14th, 2023, the Senate Committee on Health & Long Term Care held a hearing on Senate Joint Memorial 8006, a joint resolution from the Washington state legislature to President Biden and the United States Congress requesting that the federal government implement a universal healthcare system.
Several volunteers from Whole Washington attended and gave testimony at the hearing.
