Legislative & Commission Advocacy Team Meeting

Help Whole Washington become more powerful in the legislature and get universal healthcare signed into law. We will be developing our strategy for building support for the Washington Health Trust among legislators and members of the Universal Health Care Commission and applying political pressure where necessary to move things through the process. Some things you can do by working with this team:

• Set up a meeting with your Legislators to make tangible asks that support universal healthcare
• Submit written comments that show support for our bills
• Give public testimony at committee hearings, work sessions, and commission meetings
• Build a working relationship with your legislators and their staff

For this week we are encouraging folks interested in the Legislative & Commission Advocacy Team to join our coalition on Zoom at the Health Care is a Human Right Fall Retreat. This will not be exclusively focused on Whole Washington but is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the wider world of healthcare advocacy in our state.
