Strummin’ for Healthcare Benefit Concert in Arlington

Come join us for a fun-filled day of music and community support at Legion Memorial Park from 3-9pm! Strummin’ for Healthcare is a free benefit concert where local musicians will be performing to support healthcare initiatives in our community. Bring your friends and family for a day of great tunes from four different bands, delicious food (available until 6pm), and a chance to support the effort to bring universal healthcare to our state. Let’s strum our way to a healthier tomorrow together!
Featuring music from some of our talented volunteers and supporters!
The Irthlingz Duo
Sharon Abreu and Michael Hurwicz from Orcas Island
A variety of woody, stringy instruments and rich vocal harmonies, they have been singing together for peace, environmental healing, and social justice for over two decades.
.5 cc
Jay and Christie Patterson from Omak.
A stripped-down dose of the group, Close Chorders—half the band, all the heart. A potent shot of blues, rock, and solidarity! Music as medicine, for a world that needs healing.
The Moon is Flat
Their live shows have been described as a dynamic psychedelic experience with rock-jam vibes. With screaming guitars and thundering drums, they are an experience everyone should witness live.
Widow’s Fate
Bringing you the best Hard Rock and Heavy Metal classics from the 80’s, 90’s, before and beyond!
