"I believe healthcare is a basic human right, so I support and admire the work Whole Washington is doing to push for a universal healthcare system. No system is perfect, but it’s hard to ignore that many other countries have figured this out far better than we have. The system we have now is too expensive and hard to navigate for many people. I have had to fight to get coverage for care I absolutely needed, and that cost me a lot of time, money, and headaches. We need to stop accepting that as normal and start building a healthcare system that actually puts people first."
