Resolution SJM 8004 Moves On! The UHC Resolution passed the Healthcare Committee First up, some good news. Last Wednesday, SJM 8004 passed the House Health and Wellness Committee. First the Good News The Universal Health Care Resolution has a hearing! SJM 8004 is a Joint Memorial resolution, so remember, this is essentially a messaging bill. While it doesn’t provide healthcare, it does set intention and gets our legislators working in a coordinated fashion to pass a real universal healthcare bill. This is must-pass legislation this year.
