Join us for May’s All Hands meeting. We’ll talk about the current status of the campaign, ways to pitch in, and upcoming events for May and beyond.

This past Thursday’s event was especially meaningful. While workers’ rights and security are under threat, the power of labor continues to grow. We met teachers, students, nurses, and long-time union members. It was a great way to connect and promote the labor event in Olympia. How did you spend May Day this year?

Once we have universal healthcare, unions can focus on winning other advancements, like paid family leave, a shorter work week, and more! And there’s no denying it: we need the support of the labor movement to be successful. Let’s decouple work and healthcare once and for all.

Progress at the federal level seems unlikely, if not grim these days. Fortunately, there are many ways to push and make progress. We can secure more co-sponsors, we can rally, and we can fight locally and statewide. Getting more and more people on publicly-funded plans with comprehensive care and no out-of-pocket costs is the goal!
