Happy New Year ~

Last year ended with a surge of awareness and enthusiasm for Universal Healthcare. Change is in the air! For example, we’ve received many newly submitted Volunteer Questionnaires in the past few weeks. Thank you, everyone!

At tonight’s meeting, our Campaign Director Andre Stackhouse will take us behind the scenes, describe where we are now, and what we need to do in the coming weeks and months. Can you join us?

There are so many ways to connect and grow.

Our success lies locally, in our neighborhoods, and three powerhouse communities are hosting in-person meetups this Saturday, January 11th! In Real Life is where it’s at.

The Washington State Legislative session begins Monday, January 13th, so we’re heading to Olympia to visit the offices of our elected officials.

First, we’ll meet up at the Timberland Library in Lacey at 10 AM to plan our strategy. Then we’ll form teams to drop off policy briefs and check in with Legislative Assistants. The Senators and Representatives are unlikely to have time to meet us in person but our presence is still powerful. Afterward, we’ll go to the Owl’s Nest to debrief around 4 PM.
