🍎 Labor Day, Solidarity Week

Lend Us a Shift, We’ll Lend You Petition Sheets

Happy Labor Day!

Whole Washington is still hard at work, and it’s time to kick into full gear to get the 400,000 signatures we need by December. We need your help today!

If you can lend us just two hours of your time today collecting signatures, you can help us make healthcare history in Washington. Bring a sheet to a barbecue, an outing, a family get-together. We can even mail you petition sheets directly!

Weekly Signature Count: 55,126

Remember, a typical shift is two hours. We’re making progress, but with fall on its way, we need to step up. We can get the signatures we need, but we need to act now!

Join us today and help us get universal healthcare on the ballot!

NO MEETING TONIGHT

For Labor Day, we will not hold our regular Monday night volunteer meeting. Enjoy the evening off, or use this time to snag a few signatures. We do, however, have a very full week of events for signature gathering!

JUST SO MANY Places to Gather Signatures

BREMERTON: SEPTEMBER 5, BLACKBERRY FESTIVAL, 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

TACOMA: SEPTEMBER 7, WRIGHT PARK, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

SPOKANE: SEPTEMBER 8, PERRY STREET MARKET, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

SEATTLE: SEPTEMBER 9, PHINNEY FARMERS MARKET, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

VANCOUVER: SEPTEMBER 10, VANCOUVER PEACE AND JUSTICE FAIR + VOLUNTEER TRAINING, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Please remember to RSVP through the links above if you plan on attending an event!

A Brand New Option – Mail Me a Petition!

Effective immediately, we can send up to 10 petitions directly to you. This is a great way to contribute to the 400,000 signature goal! Ask your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers. Every signature gets us closer to our goal.

It’s September, and it’s still hot out there! While we’ve made great progress, we still have a long way to go in a short amount of time.

If you’re unable to volunteer, would you consider making a financial contribution? We’re so grateful for the help.
